This statement applies to the website at perrfect.site.
PerrfectSite builds accessible websites for clients, so this site is held to the same standard. This page states where it currently stands, what is known to fall short, and how to report a problem.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content easier to use for people with disabilities. There are three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means most of the standard is met, with the exceptions listed further down this page.
What has been done
- Pages use semantic HTML structure, so headings, landmarks, and lists convey meaning to assistive technology rather than only to sighted visitors.
- Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator stays visible throughout.
- Text and interface colours are tested against the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast thresholds.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Form fields have persistent visible labels, and errors are described in text rather than signalled by colour alone.
- Content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels, and stays readable at 200 percent zoom.
- Motion respects the reduced-motion setting in the visitor’s operating system.
Known limitations
The following are known to fall short of WCAG 2.1 AA. Each is listed with the reason and the intended fix.
[Third-party embeds.] Content served by external providers, such as embedded maps or video players, is not fully under the control of this site. Alternatives in text are provided where the embedded content carries information.
[Older PDF documents.] Documents published before [date] may lack a tagged structure. Any of these can be supplied in an accessible format on request.
[Video captions.] Some older video material does not yet carry captions or a transcript.
Replace or delete the bracketed items above so this section reflects the actual site. An accessibility statement listing limitations that do not exist is as misleading as one hiding limitations that do.
Where this site is improving
Work is underway on the following.
- Contrast of elements. Interface components, icons, and state indicators are being reviewed against the contrast thresholds, beyond body text alone.
- Text readability. Line length, spacing, and type sizes are being adjusted so content stays comfortable to read at any zoom level.
- Text to speech. Reading order, pronunciation of technical terms, and the way headings and labels are announced are being refined for screen readers and other speech output.
- Remaining WCAG 2.2 criteria. The newer success criteria added in version 2.2, including target size and focus appearance, are being worked through so the site can be measured against 2.2 level AA rather than 2.1.
How this site is tested
Testing combines automated scanning with manual checks, because automated tools catch roughly a third of real accessibility issues and miss the rest.
Manual testing covers keyboard-only navigation across every page template, screen reader review of the primary journeys, contrast verification against the design tokens, and content reflow at reduced viewport widths.
Accessibility checks run before any new page or template goes live, following the same publishing procedure applied to client projects.
Standards and legal context
This statement is written with reference to the following.

- WCAG 2.1 level AA. The technical standard against which this site is measured.
