Estimations, budgeting & financing

Transparency and financial help
for your project
Where your requirements and budget need to be balanced, we work with you to prioritise what gets built first and make sure every part of your budget is doing meaningful work.
For EU-based clients who need greater payment flexibility, we offer financing options on request — instalment plans and bank credit arrangements with terms agreed individually.
Cost should never be the reason a good project doesn't move forward.

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is a ballpark estimate?
Ballpark estimates are based on 15 years of project data and carry an estimation error range of 10–35%, depending on the type and complexity of the tasks involved. Straightforward, well-understood work sits at the lower end of that range; more complex or technically ambiguous tasks sit higher. The ballpark is reliable enough to assess feasibility and make an informed decision about whether to proceed to scoping — but it is not a final price. The final estimate, produced after scoping, removes that margin entirely and is broken down task by task so there are no surprises.
Why does a final estimate require a completed scoping session?
Because a final estimate is only as accurate as the requirements behind it. Until scoping is complete, there are always unknowns — technical decisions unmade, integrations unspecified, features undefined — and estimating before those are resolved means either inflating numbers to cover uncertainty or underquoting and correcting later. Scoping removes that uncertainty so the estimate reflects the actual project, not a best guess at it.
Can you help us figure out what's achievable within a fixed budget?
Yes — this is exactly what our budgeting consultancy is for. If you have a defined budget and a list of requirements that may exceed it, we work through the priorities with you, identify what delivers the most value in the first phase and structure an approach that keeps the project moving within your constraints. You don’t need to cut ambition — you need to sequence it correctly.
Who is financing available to?
Financing is available to clients based across the EU. It is handled on request, and the specific terms — installment structure, credit arrangements, and eligibility — are agreed individually based on your project and circumstances. If you’d like to explore financing options, raise it during your initial conversation with us, and we’ll confirm what’s available for your profile.
Does financing affect how the project is managed or delivered?
Budget changes mid-project are handled transparently. If your budget reduces, your project manager will work with you to reassess scope and identify what can be deferred without destabilizing what’s already underway. If additional budget becomes available, we’ll advise on where it’s best applied. Either way, the conversation happens openly, and the impact is documented before any changes are made.
What if our budget changes after the project has started?
Budget changes mid-project are handled transparently. If your budget reduces, your project manager will work with you to reassess scope and identify what can be deferred without destabilising what’s already underway. If additional budget becomes available, we’ll advise on where it’s best applied. Either way, the conversation happens openly and the impact is documented before any changes are made.
Can we get a ballpark estimate without having done a discovery first?
Yes — a ballpark doesn’t require a completed discovery. It’s designed to give you a working range at the earliest stage of a project, before any formal process begins. The more context you can share about what you’re looking to build, the more accurate the range will be. If your idea is still at a high level, we’ll tell you where the uncertainty sits and what would help narrow the range further.
Do you estimate for projects that won't be built by your team?
In most cases, no — our estimation service is part of our own project process and is designed to feed directly into scoping and delivery. For clients who need an independent cost assessment for a project being built by another team, this may be possible under our Product Management consultancy service. Get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.
